In 2022, the Cork Branch of the IMTA created a bursary, in conjunction with UCC, to support UCC PME students who are studying to become mathematics teachers. Applications open every August for PME1 students.

The 2023 recipients were Laura Keeley and Dara Keane (pictured below) who both received bursaries from the Cork Branch of the IMTA.
