Cork IMTA – UCC PME Bursary

In 2022, the Cork Branch of the IMTA created a bursary, in conjunction with UCC, to support UCC PME students who are studying to become mathematics teachers. Applications open every August for PME1 students. A special mention to our former chairperson, Eoghan Long, who established this great initiative here in Cork.

2025

The 2025 recipients were awarded to Alice Murray and Padraig McAuliffe. Both recipients displayed a clear passion and enthusiasm for teaching Mathematics. We congratulate both recipients and wish them well with the remainder of their PME journey and their teaching career beyond college.
